Portsmouth Cathedral has taken Let The Children Live! as it’s Lenten Charity and is hoping to raise a goodly sum to help our work in Colombia. Fr Anselm, one of the cathedral clergy, suggested the idea to Fr Dominic the parish priest as he had spent time with us in Colombia in 2016, when he was at the seminary in Wonersh. Fr Phil, the cathedral’s other priest, had also heard the charity’s administrator speak at Wonersh so he was happy to give his support. The project was presented to the parish on the weekend of February 10th/11th, when the administrator visited the cathedral to talk about our work and supply the congregation with literature and our new collecting boxes. Such support could not come at a better time so, ‘Thank You’ to all at Portsmouth Cathedral!
And ‘Thank You’ also to the congregation of St Mary’s, Littlehampton who have taken the charity as their Parish Project for 2018.
Is YOUR parish doing anything to help us? We have 400 children to care for, could you do something to support our work?
and from Rotary…….
Stratford-on-Avon Rotary Club have just bought the charity two mini macs for use in Casa Walsingham, in Colombia. ‘Thank You’ Stratford Rotary!
