As in the UK the churches in Colombia are closed, so every Sunday, after saying Mass at Casa Bannatyne, Fr Peter takes the Blessed Sacrament round the area near Casa Bannatyne. Johan Andrés, one of our older boys now at university, walks behind him and sounds a bell to alert people, who come to their windows or front doors to receive a blessing. The elderly men and women who live in an Old People’s Home are especially pleased and feel they are not forgotten.
